Today, Italian director and choreographer Giorgio Madia and stage designer Domenico Franchi arrived at the theatre. They are familiar to the Petersburg public in the new production of the operetta "The Merry Widow" by F. Lehar. Their visit is connected with the discussion of new joint projects with the theatre in 2020 - the Gala concert "Revue Operetta" and the musical "Cabaret" by J. Kander.

December 9 at the Music Hall Theater the ceremony of presenting the Youth Prize of the Government of St. Petersburg in the field of artistic creativity in 2019 was held. From December 6 to 8, the theater goes on tour for the first time in Petrozavodsk. On the stage of the Musical Theater of the Republic of Karelia, operettas "Silva" by I. Kalman, "Count of Luxembourg" F. Lehar, "Cin Ci La, or Lessons of Love" by K. Lombardo and V. Ranzato, as well as a gala concert of operetta stars will be shown.

The tour will be held as part of the 2019 International Theater Olympiad.

From November 30 to December 1 St. Petersburg Musical Comedy Theater toured in Surgut On the stage of the Oil Worker Palace of Arts with great success.

On November 7, the leading soloist of the troupe Katazhina Matskevich celebrated the first creative anniversary - 10 years on the stage of the Theater of Musical Comedy.

On October 18, in Tallinn, at the stage of the Alexela Kontserdimaja concert house, C. Porter's musical “Can-Can” opened the Golden Mask festival in Estonia.
