Viktorov Ilya

Born in 1983 in Moscow. He graduated from Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) at the Faculty of Musical Theatre, workshop of A.B.Titel and I.N.Yasulovich. The GITIS theatre gave him leading parts in musical «Swing dreams», «The Rape of Lucretia» B. Britten (Tarquinius), the musical «Sweeney Todd» by S.Sondhaym (Sweeney Todd).

Ilya had been working with the Moscow Academic Music Theatre n.a. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko as an actor since 2004 till 2007. He was playing in following performances: «Moscow – Cheryomushki» by D. Shostakovich, «Cosi fan tutti» by W. Mozart.

From 2007 Ilya is the soloist of the orchestra of the Russian FSB, as well as, from 2013, he is a soloist of the orchestra EMERCOM of Russia.

From 2007 till 2009 had been working with the creative workshop led by A.Rybnikov as the soloist. He played the part of Pierrot in the musical «Pinocchio», and, later a leading role in the performance «The Star and Death of Joaquin Murietta».

He also took part in following musicals: «The Bremen Town Musicians» (Troubadour), «Lukomorye» (Prince Elisey, Cat, Old witch), «The Witches of Eastwick» (Michael Spofford), «Francois Villon. Three Days in Paris. » (Francois Villon), «Belka and Strelka» (Kazbek).

Ilya has many awards: Russia's only winner Paul McCartney (2003), Gold Medal «For the promotion of culture and the arts» National Fund «Assistance» (2012), Medal «For merits in culture and art», National Committee for Public Awards (2012), Winner of the International Prize «Pilar» for «Rebirth of Russia and bright artistic talent» (2008).

Ilya makes tours throughout Russia with his solo concerts.

He has been working with GITIS as a teacher of vocal and acting technique since 2009. He is also the head of the school of singing, and the charity event «The World in children's hands».
